Owning a Bible is illegal in Iran. The Church there is growing anyway. We teach it, sing with it, and gather with it — carefully, and without ever naming the people in it.
For the safety of believers inside Iran we keep this work deliberately general. We do not publish locations, gatherings, leaders, or faces.
A church that meets where a building would be a liability. Believers across the Farsi-speaking world gather online each week for worship, teaching and prayer — many of them the only Christian in their family, some the only one they have ever met.
Vahid has written more than 250 worship songs now sung in house churches across the Farsi-speaking world and broadcast by satellite into Iran. A new recording is underway, bringing together Iranian, Arab and Jewish worship leaders.
We bring believers out of the country to gather, be taught, be baptised, and to stand in a room full of people who believe what they believe — for many of them, the first time in their lives.
